    About You & Therapy Session Questions

    Understanding and recognising  you need support is a big step. Below is a list of commonly asked questions about you, the services I offer and also some general FAQ’s.

    How do you know when it is time to get support?

    If you feel things are getting on top of you and you just feel you can’t carry on with the way you’re feeling, it’s a good time to ask yourself if you need to speak to someone who is non-judgemental.

    Are you sure you can help me?

    In our initial call, we’ll discuss your worry and we’ll see if I am the right choice in helping you.

    Can therapy sessions be shortened of lengthened?

    This is open for discussion. I usually keep to 50 minutes as it can be physically and mentally exhausting (but extremely rewarding) talking about the primary concern of your life. I’ve found that 50 minutes is long enough, but not too long to have detrimental effects.

    Where are you based?

    Illston on The Hill. The full address will be supplied upon proceeding with therapy sessions.

    What payment methods do you accept?

    Bank transfer (must clear before the session), Cash on arrival, Cheque (must clear before session begins).

    Do you accept insurance funded clients?

    At this time I only accept and work with private individuals.

    Is there parking?

    There is secure private off road parking. We take no liability for any damage to any vehicle though.

    Are you right for me?

    After our initial conversation we’ll know if we’re good to work together. If I don’t think I’m able to help, I’ll be upfront and honest. I end up working with around 90% of enquiries and referrals, so chances are we’ll work well together.

    Is your therapy right for me?

    Yes. If your life is affected by one or more of the issues listed, then I can help you.
